Star Refutes Anti-Vaccine Stance Following Voicing Controversial Pandemic Film

The "Taken" star has given his vocal talents to a feature-length documentary that questions the efficacy of immunizations and commends ex- cabinet secretary the political figure.

The Documentary's Provocative Origins

Called "Plague of Corruption," the film is inspired by a well-known publication co-authored by a controversial scientist, who became famous during the pandemic for claims that the illness was linked to a faulty batch of the flu vaccine.

Her co-author, Kent Heckenlively, has previously authored books with far-right radio host the Infowars host. The producer wrote online praising Neeson's role in the project.

A Strong Statement

The team of the actor have provided a statement pushing back against suggestions that he supports anti-vaccine beliefs.

"We all recognize that corruption might be present within the medical sector, but that must not be confused with opposition to vaccines," the statement reads. "He is not, and cannot be described as, anti-vaccination. His long work with the UN children's agency underscores his consistent support for global immunisation initiatives."

It continued that the actor had no hand in the project's editorial content and that questions about its content are best addressed to the producers.

Key Claims Within the Feature

In the film, the narration provided by Neeson features several provocative points:

  • It suggests that pro-immunization voices have demanded "unconditional submission" to health authorities.
  • It declares that "medical science has become deeply influenced by politics."
  • RFK Jr is featured claiming, "The major issue with vaccines is that they are not adequately tested."
  • It takes aim at pandemic restrictions, claiming they caused mental anguish that resulted in thousands of lives.
  • Regarding pandemic shots, it cites a report that they were "developed too quickly" and seen as "hazardous tests."

Previous Background and Ongoing Disputes

The documentary further cites a historical film about AIDS medication trials on children, which was subsequently the subject of a formal apology by the network for editorial breaches.

Last month, Kennedy called on the national health agency to change its longstanding position that there is no connection between immunizations and autism. This supposed link is repeated in the film, even with a recent study from the World Health Organisation confirming no such link has been found.

A Past Record of Endorsement

Standing in contrast to the documentary's narrative, Neeson has in the past shown firm endorsement for vaccines in his capacity as a charity ambassador.

Two years ago, he referred to vaccines as "an incredible achievement," adding that "The debate about vaccines in recent years has forgotten how much good they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest human endeavors in our history."

The film ends with Neeson's narration proclaiming, "This marks not the finish of our journey. Rather, it is the beginning of a different phase."
